I like to classify Tig’s home renovation work style into two periods: the Dark Ages (Before Bucket) and the Golden Age (After Bucket).

Before this handy bucket came into our lives, Tig’s work style was…challenging for me. Tools were scattered all over the place; he had to run up and down the stairs, in and out of rooms or down to the basement to track down a specific item.

One weekend, while getting something from the local hardware store, I spotted the tool organizer on sale for $8.88 (with 52 pockets!). I snapped it up immediately, and then tried to persuade him on the benefits of getting organized. He was skeptical initially, but he slowly warmed up to it. Over time, he started to organize the pockets to his liking.

Now, Tig is all over it. When I’m working, he’ll harass me: “Did you put that [name of tool here] back where it belongs?” Sheesh.
