Bathroom No. 1 - Before and After Pics
Posted by serena under Home Renovation , Bath (Rental) , Before & AfterEven though the bathroom is not 100% done, I thought it would be fun to put up before and after pics.
Before - Fiberglass surround, old tub, vinyl floor, ugly fixtures, bare light bulbs

After…Subway tiles, sconces, newly installed GFCI outlet, combination ceiling light and vent fan (not in picture).

Before - tiny sink, half finished side lighting, masonite board in tile pattern

After: pedestal sink and re-used pegasus faucet, tempered glass shelf, subway tiles

Medicine cabinet from upstairs (painted white). Walls are Carribean Coast blue from Behr.

We bought the sheer shower curtain from Linen and Things this weekend. The window in the shower is our only source of natural light, we didn’t want to obscure it with an opaque shower curtain. Chrome fixtures are from Lowes. Tig put in blocking behind the wall to support the double towel bars.

We’re very happy with the results. Mistakes? Sure they’re are, that’s why we did the first floor bath as a trial run for our own bathroom. But in the meantime, we enjoy using it.
