A few weeks ago, I sketched out a plan for the entryway and painted two sets of hooks to get ready. Since then, we’ve worked on half of the plan.
Here is our blank wall in the front study room.
The two hooks, painted with two coats of the same wall color…

Here it is, with Tig’s Paris photo - which we had printed onto canvas and stretched - hanging above the peg rail. My thought was that the artwork would help draw attention away from all the stuff hanging on the hooks. As a side note, these hooks came really handy when we had our housewarming party for the neighborhood.
