The Excorcism of Ghost Plates

Before - the plates sneered at us from the safety of the previous owner’s protection.

The ghosts stubbornly cling to the wall, despite heavy cleaning.

Primer and two coats of white were necessary to banish them from our bedroom.

We never did get rid of that pesky pink orange stripe of formica glue in our old kitchen in Berkeley. I don’t even want to remember how many coats of primer and paint we tried. We could still see it when we gave up.
