Weather. I used to say I missed weather, like seasons, etc. Living in California, there was only 1.5 seasons (the 1/2 season being when it rains). Now I am reconsidering.

In construction, you run out of space to put supplies, wood, etc. So outdoors space becomes critical. When it rains, sensitive items need to be covered. The dumpster however …

Well anyway, we decided to cover the dumpster. We’d be charged for the extra weight of the water, so we decided to just do it. And of coursre I buy the correct size tarp and put it on. Voila…

Of course, that’s before it started to rain. I thought I outwitted the rain.

But as it rained and poured, a huge pool of water collected in the center. Great.

So I grab some spare wood, enter the dumpster and prop up the tarp like a tent. And 15 minutes later. VOILA!

Now I just have to go back out and check on it. Cross your fingers.
