Woohoo!
It’s been a long time coming. And now we can finally use our bathroom again. We’ve been using the downstairs bath for the past 2 months. I must say the downstairs bath is pretty nice, but the upstairs is nicer.
We finally were able to use the shower today. And it feels luxurious. Why? Partially because we have a fairly large shower head with many nozzles that provide a wide spray (I decided not to install the even larger sunflower one we have). But the real deal is the curved shower curtain rod.

At first it looks weird, but you get used to it. The curves give it a nice classical look. But when you step in to the shower, it is really spacious. I’m not sure if I can go back to normal shower curtain rods, I’d just feel too cramped.

I came across your site on houseblogs and saw the photo of the shower curtain, I had a friend who got one as a gift and I have been looking everywhere for one. Where did you get it? Love the colors, subway tile and curtain by the way, beautifully done!

I’ve recently seen some Home Depot stores carry the curved shower curtain rod. But I purchased ours from Bed, Bath & Beyond. It’s around $40 but you can save a few bucks by using one of those ubiquitous 20% off coupons. I think now they even come in different finishes besides chrome (satin nickel & white).

Hi, love your blog. My husband and I are in the middle of a house renovation. I can really appreciate what you’re going through.
LOVE the white shower curtain…where did you get it? And is the pedestal sink a Kohler Memoirs sink? Thanks for all that you are sharing.

Yep, Kohler Memoirs Pedestal Lavatory. I think it was ordered from Home Depot. The shower curtain was probably from Bed, Bath & Beyond, but I honestly can’t say for certain.
